FEATURED PROJECT: LAX SOUTHWEST TERMINAL

July 7, 2016

Southwest Airlines undertook a major renovation for the nearly 30 year old Terminal 1 to improve the interior, outdoor aircraft parking ramp area and the traffic flow around Central Terminal Area of Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). Terminal 1 opened in 1984 and needed modernization to accommodate the needs of a technology-rich world. Because building systems are nearing the end of their useful life in the space, this renovation replaced them with more efficient, environmentally-friendly equipment.

Featured in the ticketing lobby are Selux’s M60 LED. The M60 LED combines flexibility, inspiration, and minimalist design providing individual solutions to unique challenges. With stunning solutions that are both intelligent and efficient, the range of possibilities are limitless. It’s no wonder the Southwest Terminal chose these fixtures to brighten up the ticketing lobby as guests are welcomed into the terminal.
